Volunteering opportunities at LCA

Lighthouse parents, grandparents, friends, teachers, and students volunteer in many areas of the school.

Our school community is strengthened through the efforts of our volunteers and all help is greatly appreciated.

Please note that anyone wishing to volunteer working with the children must get a criminal record check from their local RCMP, to be filed in the office.

Phone the office at 474.5311 if you would like to volunteer in any of the areas listed below:

• assist students in classrooms
• fundraising
• teach dance classes
• teach choir
• build props, make costumes
• drive for field trips
• cook with students
• gardening
• volunteer on the board or a committee

Board nomination papers are available in the office. Parents serve on any of the following committees:
