Teachers
All our teachers are certified to teach in BC either through the BC College of Teachers or through the Ministry of Education, Independent Schools Branch.
Besides their training, they are hired for their love for children and their love for God.
The teachers have a desire to follow Jesus in all areas of their lives and are dedicated to touching the lives of the students and their families. This is evident in the way they talk to the children in class as well as in the amount of work they do outside of school hours to prepare lessons, organize field trips, help at fund raisers and remain cheerful through it all!
As a Christian school, Lighthouse teachers operate from the words of Jesus:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, mind and love your neighbour as yourself." (Luke 10:27)
