Certified Teachers

BC certified teachers offer courses that emphasize the basic skills in reading, writing, spelling and mathematics.

BC Curriculum

Following the BC curriculum, the classes include Social Studies, Science, Physical Education and Fine Arts as well as French.

Grades

Lighthouse currently has Grades Kindergarten to 10. Grade 11 will be added in September 2008 and Grade 12 in September 2009.

Bible & Chapel

Students receive teaching from the Bible every week and instruction on how to live as a Christian in daily class devotions. Chapel for the whole school is once a week and includes singing, a short lesson, prayer and announcements.

Other activities

Other activities arising from the school’s focus on Skills, Health, Arts, Relationships and Environment include:
