Adventurer School

The Adventurer School is an alternate, independent school planned for September 2009. It uses outdoor education to engage active students in the learning process.

With an onus on meaningful hands-on experiences, much of the “teaching” will take place outside the classroom, whether it be a study of measurement in the schoolyard or learning about local ecosystems while taking a hike through the forest.
