Bus Service

Keyano Bus Service, which comes to the Westshore area to pick up PCS students, is willing to transport LCA students and faculty from the Mayfair Mall to Lighthouse Christian Academy in the mornings, and return them to Mayfair Mall after school.

Please help both with prayers and with passing the word around, so we can make this work as effectively as possible for LCA.

Details of Bus Service

Where & When

• Pick up and drop off for LCA is at Mayfair Mall at the entrance by the Gap, facing the corner of Finlayson and Douglas, to be as central as possible for all areas downtown
• The bus leaves the Mayfair Mall at precisely 7:10 a.m.
• After school the bus leaves the intersection of Parkdale and Glen Lake roads at 3:50 p.m. and arrives at Mayfair Mall at 4:20 p.m.
• Please note that there is no early bus service for Thursdays, when LCA students are dismissed at 2 p.m., but there will be supervision for them at the school.

Bus registration procedure

• LCA students will be required to register with Keyano Bus  Service
• Copies of Keyano bus service paper work, including the pick up route, will also be kept at LCA, with Steve Gallard (see below).

Payment

• Payment is based on the number of people using the service and LCA hopes to keep it at no more than $50 per month per student, especially for those families who have more than one child.
• Payment will be made to Lighthouse Christian Academy.

Bus Supervision

• Mr. Reed (Grade 10 homeroom), who intends to use the service, will provide supervision and safety for our students as they come and go on the bus.

7:30 a.m. Ocean View Park in the Cairndale area
7:38 a.m. Lighthouse Christian Academy (Glen Lake Rd. and Parkdale Dr.)

   Afternoons

3:20 p.m. Leave PCS (the bus leaves slightly earlier every Friday only)
3:54 p.m. Lighthouse Christian Academy (Glen Lake Rd. and Parkdale Dr.)
4:01 p.m. Ocean View Park
4:21 p.m. Mayfair Shopping Centre
